Oklahoma Rising will be at Freedom Acres Farm!

Please make plans to join us on Saturday, October 11, for an “Oklahoma Rising” event!  This FREE family event will include farm tours, food trucks, live music, activities for kids, a “fittest farmer” competition, and an inspiring message from Jake Merrick!

The fun will kickoff at 4pm with walking tours of the farm.  You can learn all about our farming practices as we stroll around the fall gardens and pastured pigs and laying hens.  Bring all your questions!  Tours will be adjusted to the needs and interests of participants.

Make plans to stay for supper!  Chocy Boy’s BBQ and Rocky’s Smashburgers and Homemade Ice Cream are bringing their food trucks with great options for sale.

Bring the whole family!  Beginning at 5pm, kids will enjoy face painting and pumpkin painting.  Pumpkins will be available for purchase at the event, but painting is free.  There will be live music for everyone to sit back and enjoy.

Are you the “fittest farmer”?  You can find out by entering our contest!  This friendly competition will test your strength and endurance performing “every day” farming chores like driving t-posts and carrying sacks of concrete.  The winner will receive a $200 gift certificate to the Freedom Acres Farm store.

The event will culminate with a message from Jake Merrick, 2026 candidate for Oklahoma Governor and host of The Jake Merrick Show.  He will bring a powerful message of hope to the Sooner State.  Known for his grassroots approach, Jake will outline his platform priorities, including DHS reform, improving education, and protecting children, while encouraging attendees to join the movement he is building for the 2026 election.

Please leave your pets at home.  While we are very welcoming of everyone, our livestock guardian dogs are not so much.
